Gordos History

Isaac Ptacnik is our founder. He began the sport fishing business when he had the idea of creating an office were the people could buy a ticket and go fishing with all the facilities that a fisherman could expect, like, live bait, license, and fishing poles.
He sold the tickets at 25 cents a piece.
After the first year he bought his first boat: Gordo I.
The year after that he bought his second boat: Gordo II.
Three years after that he had six boats, which where: five Gordo's and Constellation.

Today Gordo's Sportfishing is still run as a family business by:
Erick, Herman & Maria Ptacnik.
